When creating videos (which I am still a total newb at, btw!) I do try to have alot of fun with it. Rather it's anime clips, Warcraft let's plays, gaming clips, inspirational random clips or just your everyday vlog post. When I first started vlogging, I thought to myself "Why not try it and see if it sticks...".
Well, almost two years later, I have nearly 600 videos uploaded (nearly 550 visible to the public), and I'm still going. But why? I get questioned alot about why I keep making these videos that get so few views, and my answer is always, "Because I enjoy it! Views be damned."
Now, don't get me wrong; I love my subscribers! But, my creating and uploading is my way of reaching the world, in a sense. I wasn't born with a gift for speech, written word, political aspirations, silver-spoon in my mouth, etc. Everything I do, though, is something I hope somebody will enjoy and, maybe..just maybe...draw some inspiration or hope from.
Then again, some of my videos, like this one...
Doesn't exactly say "Hey, this guy is awesome, and I can be, too!". But, something that can be taken away from it is that the video posted even though it's kinda crappy. I created, uploaded and left it up because I liked it, even if for a fleeting moment, and that's what I hope a viewer will see. The lesson of being proud of what you might not like later.
Hopefully, you'll see my meaning here...

The Hobbit's Mountain Trolls reference in Warlords of Draenor...

Troll Names in Hobbit: Tom, Bert & William

The chest that cab be found near the three in-game contains: Burglar's Vest...

and Dwarf Beard Rings (12 of them!) Well played Blizzard! Well Played!
*Note: Screenshots were taken by my fiancee. Thanks, babe!

The whole zombie thing...

Is overdone and over-hyped! I get it, though. I was a sucker for it at first, as well. But, nowadays, my personal reply to customers (in my head, anyway. I can't exactly act this way at work since it's my job to sell the hell out of stuff!) and friends talking about killing zombies in a game or watching a zombie flick is usually *shrug* "Okay. Sure." The concept is still fun, but after awhile, a head hanging off some dead dude's shoulder or a broken foot being walked on with a ghastly crunch, is becoming very cliche!

I do love some series though for their innovation when it comes to kills and gross factors; High School of the Dead (Anime), Walking Dead (TV), Red Dead Redemption (Game) and Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 (Game). These series kind of redefined their genres for me. For example, High School of the Dead combines my love of anime factors (big boobed heroines, crazy plot-points & clearly twisted side-characters) with the real emotion of relationships and high school anxieties. Intro incoming:

And then, we have Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 (I prefer 2, personally)! This game invented some new zombie types that are both freaky and sick as hell! For a good time, Google "Witch Attack on Left 4 Dead". The game itself is a FPS (first-person shooter) that uses the appeal of zombies and original survivors trying to escape from the aftermath. My love for this game, though, comes from the multi-player experience! you can play as either survivor OR zombie (I love a good "Tank" run!).

Overall, zombies will forever be a part of our lore, but if we over-market it, the experience can die quickly. (No pun intended.)

My latest "vlog" speaks to what humanity truly is, in my opinion. People that forget they're human! It happens a lot when you either; move up in the world, become rich and famous, get elected to office, win the lottery, etc. I could go on and on for days talking about ho most of humanity has lost it's way. Hell, I'm guilty of it myself. But, in the video below, I mention how I keep reminding myself of the truth...
